Avelo to launch flights to Salem

Avelo announced that it will inaugurate flights to Salem, Oregon’s capital city, starting in October. The airline will operate with its Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 737-800, configured for 149 and 189 passengers respectively.

According to the press release, Avelo will operate flights to Salem from Burbank and Las Vegas, two of its major bases. Both routes will have twice-weekly service.

Salem returns to commercial operations after 15 years, having last been served by Delta in 2008.
