Delta set to Offer Premium Economy on Domestic Transcontinental Flights

-

Beginning this fall, Delta Air Lines has scheduled flights between New York JFK and Los Angeles offering Delta Premium Select for the first time on domestic transcontinental flights in the United States.
Delta Premium Select will be available on September 10 on four of the eleven daily flights the company operates between Los Angeles and New York JFK on its four-class Boeing 767s: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. The airline expects to expand its daily flights between New York JFK and Los Angeles later this year.
«Delta Premium Select will bring a new level of comfort, luxury, and practicality to one of Delta’s most important routes in the U.S. as we continue to work to offer more premium experiences to our customers. This product has been a success internationally, especially following recent investments we’ve made onboard, and we know customers flying between New York and Los Angeles will enjoy the opportunity to indulge themselves with a more spacious seat and premium experience,» said Mauricio Parise, Vice President of Brand Experience Design.
Delta Premium Select has been available since 2017, since that time operating on most of Delta’s transpacific and transatlantic flights, as well as select routes in Latin America, The product recently upgraded to provide more restaurants, premium handcrafted meals, more dedicated service and the option to pre-select in-flight meals.
The expansion of Delta Premium Premium to U.S. transcontinental services is one of the latest investments on the New York JFK-Los Angeles route, both in the air and on the ground.
