Porter Airlines began its first service to Western Canada with flights from Montreal to Vancouver International Airport.
On April 11, flight PD375 was operated in an Embraer E195-E2 registered as C-GZQC. The aircraft took off from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport at 17:28 local time and landed at Vancouver International Airport at 19:49, after five hours and 21 minutes.
The flights are operated on 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft in a single configuration. Passengers will enjoy fast and free Wi-Fi, as well as free snacks and beverages. Customers can access further benefits by purchasing PorterReserve fares.
The route offers connections to eastern Canada via Montreal, including Halifax, Toronto-Pearson and Toronto-City, complementing with daily operation between Toronto-Pearson and Ottawa to Vancouver.
Porter’s codeshare partnership with Air Transat provides connections from Montreal to all of Europe, to popular destinations such as Paris and London. Service from Montreal to Edmonton and Calgary will begin this spring, with the start of these three routes, Porter will have a network of 8 non-stop routes from Montreal.
