United Airlines announced it will add its second destination in Colombia, by connecting Houston‘s International Airport (IAH), Texas, with José María Córdova International Airport, serving Medellín, the second most populous city in the South American country.

With this, the total number of Latin American destinations operated by United from Houston rises to 52.

The new link will begin on October 27, 2024 and will be operated with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with a capacity for 166 passengers, offering a daily flight, providing 2,324 seats per week.

The city will access United’s global network in Houston, allowing connections to other cities in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
