Delta Air Lines Celebrates Decades of Operation in Montego Bay, Bermuda and St. Lucia

Delta Air Lines celebrates its 65th anniversary in Montego Bay, 55 years of flying to Bermuda, and 20 years of connecting customers to St. Lucia in the Caribbean.

«Delta is making history in Latin America and the Caribbean, solidifying our presence and connecting our customers to their dream destinations. From points around the world to these iconic island destinations, we are forging vital connections and making it easier for our customers to access their ideal vacation spots,» said Luciano Macagno, Delta’s General Manager for Latin America, the Caribbean, and South Florida.

Montego Bay

For 65 years, Delta has become a bridge to the rest of the world. Currently, the airline operates 26 weekly flights between Atlanta and Montego Bay. This service is complemented by operations from New York JFK and seasonal flights from Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul. Delta is the fastest-growing carrier between the U.S. and Montego Bay, with more than 1,700 weekly seats.

Bermuda

Delta has connected Bermuda to its major U.S. hubs for over half a century. The airline has been vital in promoting tourism, contributing to the island’s economic growth for 55 years. Delta currently has four weekly flights from New York JFK and three weekly flights from Atlanta.

St. Lucia

Celebrating two decades of nonstop flights, Delta has made access to the Caribbean destination easier. The airline operates a daily flight to St. Lucia from its Atlanta hub, with additional Saturday service.
