Air Europa to boost flights between Madrid and Salvador

-

Air Europa announced that, as of June 17th, it will increase its weekly flight frequency between Salvador’s Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (BA) and Madrid (Spain).

It currently operates two flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing at 22:55 from the Bahian capital. From the Spanish city, departures are at 11:25 local time. The new operation will be on Mondays at the same times and with the same type of aircraft, the Boeing 787.

As Air Europa’s general manager in Brazil, Gonzalo Romero, explains, the addition of another flight to the route is justified by the significant demand that left the Bahian capital last year.

«In 2023, flights from Salvador to Madrid had excellent occupancy, with an average of over 90%. This scenario favored the decision to increase the number of weekly trips, which means one more possible date to visit Europe,» says Romero.
