Spirit Airlines is celebrating two decades of flying between Cancun International Airport and the United States. The low-cost airline offers promotional fares at affordable vacation rates to commemorate this milestone.

«For 20 years, we have been pleased to offer our Guests nonstop service to Cancun, making the popular beach destination more accessible and affordable with the opportunity to save on airfare while enjoying more of Cancun’s tourist attractions,» said John Kirby, Spirit Airlines’ Vice President of Network Planning.

The company is also awarding members of its «Free Spirit» loyalty program 1,500 bonus points on round-trip flights and 750 points for round-trip travel from Cancun. Customers can earn more bonus points by booking a Cancun hotel or rental car through Spirit Vacations and earn 300 points weekly.

In addition, the Spirit Charitable Foundation to commemorate the anniversary made a $20,000 donation to Keeping Kids School in Playa Del Carmen. This donation will benefit many children in Mexico to have access to education.
