Delta adds new routes to Hawaii and Miami

Delta Air Lines is adding routes from Boston to Honolulu and Seattle to Miami for the winter season, strengthening its position with Boston’s premier carrier and connecting Miami to nine of its major hubs.

«Over the past decade, Delta has been dedicated to perfecting its domestic presence, and this year we are strengthening our roots in our well-positioned U.S. hubs to meet growing demand. «In cities like Boston, Atlanta, and Seattle, we are offering more choices and seamless connections to the most sought-after destinations,» said Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning.

More flights to Hawaii

Delta will have a schedule of 22 daily flights to Hawaii for the winter season, including a new seasonal service between Boston and Honolulu from November 21, 2024, through April 30, 2025. Boston customers have access to seven destinations in Florida and seven destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean for the winter schedule.

From Salt Lake City, a second daily flight will be added to Honolulu from November 6, 2024, through March 29, 2025. Additionally, a third daily flight to Honolulu will be added from December 21, 2024, through March 29, 2025.

Delta will be the only carrier to offer nonstop service between Maui and the eastern United States with the resumption of seasonal service from Atlanta from December 21, 2024, through March 29, 2025.

With these additions, the airline will fly to four Hawaiian destinations from eight Continental U.S. cities, including service to Honolulu from Delta’s major hubs.

New service to Miami

Next winter season, Delta will have a schedule of 38 daily departures to 13 from Miami, including a new year-round route to Seattle beginning December 21, 2024, the airline will compete in this segment with Alaska Airlines and American Airlines.

The addition of the Miami service is in addition to new summer routes from Taipei and Dallas/Fort Worth. In addition, it will connect its nine main hubs to Miami, providing greater connectivity.

All new routes will be operated on Boeing 767-300ER and Airbus A321neo aircraft.
