American Airlines is expanding its international network at Dallas/Fort Worth with new routes to Australia, Brazil, Hawaii, and Mexico for winter 2024.

Brisbane
American schedules the longest route in its entire network with a nonstop flight between Dallas/Fort Worth and Brisbane which will operate daily, the Queensland capital is the carrier’s second destination in Australia, complementing services to Sydney.
The new seasonal route will begin on October 27 and will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with new cabins, 51 Flagship Suites and 32 Premium Economy seats. With this service, all three major Australian cities will be connected to Dallas/Fort Worth,
The alliance between American and Qantas continues to provide one of the most comprehensive networks connecting North America with Australia and New Zealand. Next summer, the alliance will offer flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Vancouver to four major destinations in Australia and New Zealand: Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. With the American-Qantas alliance, customers will be able to connect to more than 200 destinations in the United States and around 70 destinations in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific more than any other partnership.
More flights to Brazil
Beginning October 27, a seasonal nonstop flight between Dallas/Fort Worth and Rio de Janeiro will begin with daily flights operated on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, complementing the route to Miami and extended service to New York JFK. In total, by the northern winter the company will have four daily flights to Galeao Airport, more than any U.S. carrier.
More options to fly to Hawaii
American will return to service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Kona operated by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner beginning October 27, plus add a second daily flight between Dallas and Kahului from December 19 through January 6, the carrier will have five daily flights between Texas and Hawaii.
More than 20 destinations in Mexico
American expands its Mexican network at Dallas/Fort Worth with new nonstop service to Veracruz beginning June 12 operated by Embraer E175, the airline will have up to 55 more daily flights between Dallas and Mexico. In total, American will have a schedule of more than 105 daily departures between the U.S. and Mexico, more than any other U.S. airline.
