Allegiant Air launched 10 new routes

-

Allegiant has launched 10 new nonstop routes to 14 cities across the United States. These new connections will depart from Los Angeles, Sarasota, St Petersburg-Clearwater, Knoxville, and Jacksonville, starting in June.

Drew Wells, Chief Revenue Officer of Allegiant, commented: «This expansion is aimed at passengers and communities we believe have been overlooked by other airlines. Allegiant’s unique business model, which connects small and mid-sized cities with vacation destinations, creates affordable travel options that would otherwise not be available in what we perceive as underserved markets.»

«We know travelers enjoy the convenience of nonstop flights departing from their neighborhood airport,» he added.

Allegiant Air boasts a fleet of 126 aircraft from the A320 family: 34 A319-100s and 92 A320 ceos. Its primary hub is located at the Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), with 23 secondary bases across the U.S.

Boeing 737 MAX

In January 2022, Allegiant Air placed an order for 50 aircraft from the Boeing 737 MAX family, with options for an additional 50. Deliveries were scheduled to begin in 2023, but multiple setbacks from the American manufacturer have delayed the arrival of the new planes.

It is expected that Allegiant will finally receive the first 737-8200s, the high-density version of the -8 series, in the coming weeks. The first four aircraft to arrive will bear the registrations N810MG, N812NV, N813NV, and N814NV.
