Thai Airways flies to Oslo again

Thai Airways continues to expand its global network with the restart of its non-stop flights between Oslo and Bangkok after four years. For the summer season, the carrier will once again operate to the three Scandinavian capitals.

The airline will offer 4,872 seats per week between Thailand and Norway, competing in this segment with Norse Atlantic Airways. Thai abandoned Gardermoen airport as a result of the outbreak of the pandemic and the company’s financial problems, now resolved, the company is rebuilding its global network.

Along with service to Oslo, it is reactivating other destinations such as from Bangkok to Milan, Perth, Colombo and increasing operations to Sydney, Manila, Taipei and Tokyo Narita.

«This is a very popular route, not only for Norwegian travelers to Thailand and beyond, but also for many travelers from Southeast Asia and Oceania, who find Norway an attractive and exotic destination,» said Ulv Elbirk, Head of Traffic Development for Asia and the Americas.

Flight schedule between Oslo and Bangkok

Starts July 1, 2024

  • Bangkok – Oslo Flight TG 954 BKK 00:55 – OSL 07:25 daily flights.
  • Oslo – Bangkok Flight TG 955 OSL 14:15 – BKK 06:15+1 daily flights.

The flights will be operated on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with 348 seats in two classes (42 Business Class/306 Economy Class).

For the upcoming summer season, Thai Airways’ European network will have services to Stockholm, Paris, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London-Heathrow, Munich, Milan, Oslo and Zurich.
