Finnair adds more flights to Nordic leisure destinations

Finnair is adding flights to popular Nordic holiday destinations during the peak season between late June and August. The airline has seen an increase in demand from European and Asian travelers.

Northern Europe, with its fresh air and beautiful nature, attracts travelers looking for authentic experiences. We offer vacation travelers excellent connections across the Nordic countries with seamless connections through our Helsinki hub,” said Ole Orvér, Finnair’s chief commercial officer.

Finnair is re-establishing its service to Bodo in Norway, which sits above the Arctic Circle with five weekly flights between June 17 and August 2. It will also add another destination in Norway, flying to Trondheim with 10 weekly flights from June until the end of August. Both cities will have access to the airline’s international network.

The airline adds flights to Kuusamo, Ivalo, and Kittla in Finnish Lapland throughout the summer. Finnair is the only airline offering year-round flights to Finnish Lapland and offers convenient connections to the airline’s European and U.S. networks.

Finnair also serves Visby in Gotland, Sweden, from late June to early August. The medieval town of Visby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
