Azul and Silver Airways sign code-sharing agreement

-

Azul and Silver Airways have entered into a code-share agreement, allowing customers of the Brazilian airline to purchase tickets operated by Silver in the United States under a single booking.

This agreement facilitates the combination of flights from both companies departing from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Customers will enjoy traditional services, along with a broader range of destinations, unified check-in, and baggage handling from origin to final destination.

André Mercadante, Director of Alliances, Planning, and Revenue Management at Azul, stated: «The initiation of the partnership with Silver Airways reflects Azul’s mission to provide the best flight experience and expand options for our customers to explore international destinations.»

«Now, with this new agreement, we offer access to an extensive national and international network, reinforcing our synergy and commitment to service excellence. This way, our customers can depart from our hubs and, with a single ticket, travel to new, incredible cities, modern destinations with wonderful beaches, and rich in culture,» added Mercadante.

The Commercial Director of Silver Airways, Pedro Motta, said: «We are delighted to expand our business relationship with Azul as Code-Share Partners. This passenger-focused agreement will enable Azul to offer more destinations to Florida and the Bahamas with smooth, secure, reliable, and user-friendly connections through Silver. We look forward to welcoming Azul passengers on our flights.»

Connections with Silver’s Network

The new code-share agreement allows Azul customers to connect their flights between Brazil and the United States with the main tourist and business destinations in the state of Florida and the region.

From Orlando, customers can connect to Key West, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa in the United States, and to Marsh Harbour and North Eleuthera in the Bahamas. From Fort Lauderdale, they can fly to Key West, Tampa, Gainesville, and Orlando, all in the state of Florida. Additionally, they have the option to travel to North Eleuthera, Freeport, Georgetown, Governor’s Harbour, Marsh Harbour, and Bimini in the Bahamas, as well as to Providenciales in Turks and Caicos, a new route by Silver Airways.

Azul offers direct flights from Recife, Manaus, Campinas, Belém, and Belo Horizonte to Fort Lauderdale, while flights to Orlando are available from Campinas, Recife, and Belo Horizonte.
