Singapore Airlines Adds Gatwick Airport as a New Gateway to London

Singapore Airlines will start flying to London-Gatwick Airport from June 21, 2024. This new service, which will operate five times a week, will complement the 4 daily flights between Singapore and London-Heathrow Airport.

Two of the four daily flights in each direction are operated with Airbus A380 aircraft, while the other two are operated with Boeing 777-30ER aircraft. This totals an offering of 10,290 seats in each direction.

The presence of Asian airlines in Gatwick is limited to Air India (Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Kochi, and Goa); Air China (Shanghai), China Southern Airlines (Zhengzhou); and China Eastern Airlines (Shanghai). On the British side, although focused on outbound tourism with one or two weekly flights, TUI Airways operates to Goa (India), Phuket (Thailand) and Singapore.

Singapore Airlines has not yet revealed the days of operation for its new flights to London-Gatwick nor which aircraft it will operate.
