Mexico’s new airline Señor Air started its flights

Finally, Señor Air has started its operations on December 8, 2023, aiming to provide services in the northwest of Mexico, using Cabo San Lucas, Baja California as its base.

Initially, the company will operate with one Embraer ERJ 135 aircraft, registration XA-SEN, which has a capacity for 37 passengers. Additionally, it is about to incorporate an Embraer ERJ 145 configured for 50 passengers.

Among the destinations offered by the airline are Guadalajara (GDL), Los Mochis (LMM), Mazatlán (MZT), and Puerto Vallarta (PVR). It also plans to launch flights to Mexico City/AIFA (NLU).

Schedule and Frequencies of Señor Air Flights

Initially, it will operate 14 weekly flights in each direction, offering 1,086 seats per week from Cabo San Lucas.

Cabo San Lucas – Los Mochis, with four weekly flights.

  • Cabo San Lucas – Los Mochis flight SEN 701 CSL 09:00 – 09:45 LMM / Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
  • Los Mochis – Cabo San Lucas flight SEN 702 LMM 10:15 – 11:00 CSL / Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Cabo San Lucas – Mazatlán, with six weekly flights.

  • Cabo San Lucas – Mazatlán flight SEN 703 CSL 12:00 – 12:55 MZT / Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Mazatlán – Cabo San Lucas flight SEN 704 MZT 13:25 – 14:20 CSL / Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Cabo San Lucas – Guadalajara starting December 17, with two weekly flights.

  • Cabo San Lucas – Guadalajara flight SEN 705 CSL 15:00 – 17:30 GDL / Thursday and Sunday.
  • Guadalajara – Cabo San Lucas flight SEN 706 GDL 18:00 – 18:30 CSL / Thursday and Sunday.

Cabo San Lucas – Puerto Vallarta, with two weekly flights.

  • Cabo San Lucas – Puerto Vallarta flight SEN 707 CSL 08:20 – 10:25 PVR / Wednesday and Saturday.
  • Puerto Vallarta – Cabo San Lucas flight SEN 708 PVR 10:55 – 11:00 CSL / Wednesday and Saturday.

According to Señor Air’s website, it offers three fare categories: Economy, Economy Plus, and Priority. Pet transportation, unaccompanied minor services, and transfers with Cabo Cardinal company are also allowed.
