Flybondi Joins the Argentine Chamber of Airlines as New Associate Member

The Argentine Chamber of Airlines (JURCA) has announced the inclusion of Flybondi as its latest associate airline member. This pivotal development promises to enhance the diversity and availability of flight options in Argentina’s aviation sector.

«Flybondi has consistently shown an outstanding commitment to customer service excellence, operational safety, and expanding flight frequencies and destinations since entering the market. Their focus on providing low-cost fares and high-quality travel experiences has been well-received by both domestic and international travelers, further democratizing air travel in Argentina», says the Chamber in a press release.

Currently, the airline boasts a fleet of 15 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, over 1,500 employees, services 18 domestic and 3 international destinations, and holds a 20% domestic and 6% regional market share (according to ANAC data, November 2023).

JURCA’s Mission and Flybondi’s Role

The Argentine Chamber of Airlines states that its mission is «to foster sustainable growth and fair competition in the aviation sector», and find Flybondi’s membership «valuable», as their «innovative approach and experience will significantly enhance air connectivity in Argentina and the region, offering passengers more convenient and affordable travel options.»

Collaboration for Industry Growth

«Flybondi joins a prestigious group of associate airlines that share our commitment to quality service and the promotion of Argentina’s aviation industry.» says Felipe Baravalle, JURCA’s Executive Director. «Together, we will collaborate closely to address the challenges and opportunities facing the sector and promote initiatives for sustainable growth and development.»

JURCA states that it is «very excited» to welcome Flybondi as its new associate airline member, and looks forward to a fruitful and mutually beneficial collaboration. «Together we will work to enhance growth and competitiveness in Argentina’s aviation sector.»
