Breeze Airways set to fly between Ogden and Santa Ana

-

Breeze Airways adds a new route to its network: from Ogden, UT (OGD) to Orange County-Santa Ana, CA (SNA). The low-cost airline will commence operations on this new connection starting February 21, 2024.

This will be the first flight for Breeze Airways from Ogden Airport (OGD), located 38 miles (61 kilometers) north of Salt Lake City. Additionally, it marks the second service at SNA Airport in Southern California. Following its business model, Breeze operates in tertiary airports, those not heavily utilized by major airlines.

«Ogden has a rich history of travel, once serving as a transfer point between the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads,» mentioned Breeze Airways President, Tom Doxey.

«Today, Breeze is writing a new chapter for Ogden, providing its residents with access to simple, affordable, and comfortable air travel to coveted destinations like Orange County», he added.

Breeze already operates at Provo Airport (PVU), located 46 miles (75 kilometers) south of Salt Lake City, since August 2022. From there, it offers direct flights to SNA and seven other destinations with one layover.

With the addition of Ogden to Breeze’s network, the airline now covers a total of 45 cities. Furthermore, the company recently announced the inclusion of seven new cities in underserved markets, such as Grand Junction, CO; Madison, WI; and Evansville, IN.
