American Airlines to change the aircraft used on the Miami – Santiago route in January

American Airlines will modify the aircraft used on the MiamiSantiago de Chile route starting January 7th, 2024. Currently, the company operates Boeing 777-200(ER) with capacity for 273 passengers.

In line with the Cirium platform, American will fly this route with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, which have 39 fewer seats than the 777.
