Aerolíneas Argentinas Set to Break Passenger Record in 2023

Aerolíneas Argentinas reported that it estimates to end 2023 transporting 13.8 million passengers, which would surpass by almost one million the historical record of 12.9 million passengers moved in 2019.

Of that total, nearly 11 million correspond to the domestic market, 1.8 million to the regional international segment, and the rest to international flights to the United States, the Caribbean, and Europe.

“We have worked very hard to reach this figure: from the commercial side by placing the offer where we see business opportunities, and operationally by being efficient and providing quality service“, said Fabián Lombardo, the newly appointed president of Aerolíneas Argentinas, who, as the former Commercial Director, played a key role in the strategy that achieved the record.

The company also noted that during this long New Year’s weekend, they will transport 191 thousand passengers between today and January 1, 2024, with Bariloche, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Iguazú, Córdoba, Mendoza, Salta, Rio de Janeiro, Tucumán, and São Paulo being the most chosen destinations.
