LATAM Airlines Colombia begins marketing flights to Caracas

LATAM Airlines Colombia increases its operations in Venezuela with a new route between Bogota and Maiquetia International Airport. Tickets are now available for sale and subject to government approval.

Last year, LATAM began its route requesting process with the Civil Aeronautics Authority by formalizing its application to fly between Bogota and Caracas. At the end of June, the airline received authorization to fly to Venezuela from the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC).

LATAM Airlines will be the fourth airline to operate between Bogota and Caracas competing with Wingo, Laser and Turpial Airlines: on October, Satena suspended its operations between the Colombian and Venezuelan capital.

Flight schedule between Bogota and Caracas

Starts December 1, 2023

  • Bogota – Caracas Flight LA 4404 BOG 11:45 – CCS 14:45 Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
  • Caracas – Bogotá Flight LA 4405 CCS 16:45 – BOG 17:16 Wednesday, Friday and Sunday

The route will be operated in Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 174 seats (12 Premium Economy and 162 Economy and promotional fares are available from $ 283 each way. This service is LATAM Airlines Colombia’s third international connection at El Dorado Airport.

In August of this year, LATAM resumed service to Caracas with daily nonstop service between Lima and Caracas, the Colombian end of the group is the second airline to schedule flights to Venezuela.
