BoA Starts Selling Tickets on New Routes to Caracas and Havana

Days after announcing the expansion of their operations to Caracas (CCS), Venezuela, and Havana (HAV), Cuba, Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) started this week ticket sales for these destinations, offering connections from and to São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU), Brazil, and Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE), Argentina through its hub at the Viru Viru airport in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Ronald Casso, General Manager of BoA, revealed these details during an event on September 27. The inaugural flight to Havana is scheduled for October 26, while the service to Caracas will start on October 31.

Both destinations will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity for 169 passengers, which have recently undergone an interior renovation.

BoA Schedules and Frequencies to Caracas and Havana

Starts on October 31.

  • Santa Cruz de la Sierra – Caracas flight OB 1718 VVI 20:10 – 00:30 (+1) CCS / Tuesday.
  • Caracas – Santa Cruz de la Sierra flight OB 1711 CCS 02:00 – 06:20 VVI / Wednesday.

According to the website, an initial fare from USD 589.88 round trip is offered. Additionally, connections to São Paulo and Buenos Aires are allowed with rates from USD 825 and USD 916, respectively.

Starts on October 26.

  • Santa Cruz de la Sierra – Havana flight OB 1756 VVI 18:30 – 23:59 HAV / Thursday.
  • Havana – Santa Cruz de la Sierra flight OB 1751 HAV 01:00 – 08:30 VVI / Friday.

According to the website, an initial fare from USD 693.95 round trip is offered. Additionally, connections to São Paulo and Buenos Aires are allowed with rates from USD 1,013 and USD 870, respectively.

Boliviana de Aviación and its international destinations

Havana and Caracas become the sixth and seventh destinations of its network after Buenos Aires, Madrid, Miami, Lima, and São Paulo.

  • From and to Cochabamba (CBB):
    • Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE), Argentina; 2 weekly flights (3 weekly flights during high season).
    • São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU), Brazil; 4 weekly flights (7 weekly flights during high season).
  • From and to Santa Cruz de la Sierra (VVI):
    • Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE), Argentina; 11 weekly flights (14 weekly flights during high season).
    • Madrid (MAD), Spain; 3 weekly flights.
    • Miami (MIA), United States; 11 weekly flights.
    • São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU), Brazil; 11 weekly flights (14 weekly flights during high season).
    • Lima (LIM), Perú: 7 weekly flights.

Last week, the General Manager also announced the inclusion of Asunción (ASU), Paraguay, as another future destination

According to information provided to AeronauticaPY, our affiliated media in Paraguay, the state airline plans to operate two weekly flights to Asunción using Boeing 737-700 aircraft and is in the process of finalizing documents to start selling tickets.
