BBJ Select: a new option to customize the Boeing 737 MAX -7 BBJ cabin

-

Boeing has launched BBJ Select, the new option available to Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) customers to personalize the cabins of their new BBJ 737-7 aircraft. The new method offers a wide range of pre-designed cabin layouts and configurations, which will streamline installation and reduce the total aircraft purchase price.

Joe Benson, President of BBJ, stated: «Boeing Business Jets provides customers with a streamlined approach to designing a unique, comfortable, and functional interior for our BBJ 737-7 aircraft. For customers who don’t have the time or desire to create a fully customized interior, BBJ Select offers pre-designed options to outfit their cabin, allowing us to offer the jet at a fixed, very attractive price.»

The cabin will be offered in modules, allowing customers to choose the aircraft’s configuration, including guest rooms, private offices, family rooms, VIP passenger seats, and more. Customers select modules for each section of the aircraft, with a total of 144 modular cabin combinations available in three different color palettes.

BBJ Select is exclusively available for the new BBJ 737-7, the latest member of the BBJ 737 MAX family. This aircraft can fly for more than 15 hours non-stop, while also reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions compared to previous-generation models.

BBJ Select Providers

ALOFT AeroArchitects (ALOFT) and Greenpoint Technologies (Greenpoint) have been selected as exclusive providers for interiors completions of Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) Select.

Greenpoint will deliver turnkey cabin kits developed by its Interior Design Center to ALOFT, which will leverage its world-leading BBJ integration expertise and its in-house FAA ODA to install, certify, and deliver the finished interiors. Both companies will share key responsibilities, including customer acceptance and post-delivery support, to ensure comprehensive and seamless service to BBJ Select customers. This collaboration sets a new standard for quality and value in the narrow-body VIP aircraft market.

Matt Hill, Vice President of Sales and Service at ALOFT, expressed: «Collaboration is in our DNA at ALOFT. We have been a proud partner of Boeing in the auxiliary fuel system since the program’s inception, as well as one of the leading providers of VIP interior finishes for BBJ 737 aircraft. It is an honor for us to expand the relationship with BBJ through the award of the BBJ Select project. What makes it even more rewarding is our teamwork with Greenpoint to provide an unparalleled level of quality, capability, and support that translates into excellence and uncompromising value for every new BBJ Select customer.»

«Greenpoint is delighted to partner with ALOFT as the exclusive completion provider for the BBJ Select program. BBJ Select marks a significant milestone in luxury aviation and underscores our commitment to delivering excellence in VIP aircraft interiors. Drawing on our extensive experience in BBJ aircraft construction and insights from our customers’ needs, the BBJ, ALOFT, and Greenpoint team have developed an interior offering with exceptional personal space, comfort, and connectivity, with an accelerated completion schedule and outstanding value. We look forward to the profound impact of BBJ Select,» said Bret Neely, Vice President of Sales and Design at Greenpoint.
