This Friday (1), LATAM Airlines’ «reinaugural flight» to Melbourne departed from Santiago de Chile. As a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline had suspended operations between the two cities in March 2020.

LATAM will operate three times a week to the Australian city with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft configured for 313 passengers. With this schedule, the company will offer 939 seats per week on each leg.
