Condor Unveils New Route: Direct Frankfurt-San Antonio Flights

-

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) will have a new Condor transatlantic connection with flights from Frankfurt (FRA) for the 2024 summer season. This service is the German leisure airline’s only Texas destination.

This new route will offer dozens of connections to destinations throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. In the past two years, Condor has expanded its North American network with destinations to New York JFK, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Calgary and Miami.

The first transatlantic service from San Antonio will have an estimated annual economic impact of $34 million. Condor is the only airline to offer flights to Europe and the fourth foreign airline to have international service along with Aeromexico, Volaris and Viva Aerobus.

In addition, Frankfurt will be San Antonio Airport’s sixth international destination, complementing the current service offerings to Mexico City, Leon/Guanajuato, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Cancun.

«This is the first time people from San Antonio will be able to fly from SAT to Europe nonstop and vice versa. Germany is where San Antonio has the most demand for travel in Europe due to cultural, historical, tourism, military and business ties,» said Ron Nirenberg, Mayor of San Antonio.

Frankfurt (FRA) will be the only airport in Europe to be connected to four cities in the state of Texas thanks to Condor’s new service. FRA also has nonstop flights to Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston-Intercontinental and Austin.
