Azul and GOL to launch new flights to Chapecó

The concessionaire Voe Xap, which is part of Socicam, informed that the west of Santa Catarina has news regarding aviation. In addition to a completely improved infrastructure and greater operational efficiency, Chapecó’s Serafim Enoss Bertaso Airport will start operating a new daily flight to Florianópolis Airport (SC), in addition to including Congonhas (SP) by the end of this year.

Azul, which already operates a daily flight to the capital of Santa Catarina, plans to include a new option as of October 2nd, facilitating connectivity for those who need to travel to Florianópolis.

According to AEROIN, operations will have arrivals in Chapecó at 00:15 and 16:50 and departures to Florianópolis are scheduled for 05:30 and 17:35. The services will be operated by Embraer 195 and 195-E2 jets.

Another novelty for the region is the expansion of mobility to the capital of São Paulo starting on December 15th. GOL, which already operates to Guarulhos (SP), also plans to include a new operation to Congonhas Airport (SP).

The company’s schedule is for flights from Sunday to Friday with landings at Serafim Enoss Bertaso airport at 16:00 and takeoffs at 16:50, with Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
