Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão airport will have one runway closed for 10 days

The National Union of Aeronauts (SNA) echoed a note issued by the flight safety department of RIOGaleão, administrator of Tom Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, in the form of an operational safety bulletin on Wednesday (2) warning of the closure of runway (RWY) 15/33.

According to the information published by AEROIN, the aforementioned runway will remain closed from August 3rd to 13th, 2023, with the respective inclusion of NOTAM (Notice to Air Mission), due to maintenance.
