Beginning April 2nd, 2024, Iberia will increase its frequency of flights between Madrid and Buenos Aires. The Spanish airline currently operates 14 weekly services with Airbus A330-200 and Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 288 and 348/352 seats respectively.

According to what has been published in its reservation system and the Cirium platform, Iberia will once again have more than 14 flights a week to the Argentine capital from Barajas airport, its main hub in Madrid.

Iberia will operate 17 weekly operations to Buenos Aires with the same jets. In line with Cirium, this schedule is planned until at least the next high season.
The carrier will consolidate its leadership in the market, reaching three days per week with three flights.

From October 2018 to January 2019, Iberia had operated 17 weekly flights between Madrid and Buenos Aires, the first time it had exceeded 14 services a week on this route.

The airline suspended this schedule in January, three months after starting, due to the low profitability of the new operations. Since then, excluding the changes because of the pandemic, it has operated 14 weekly flights (2 daily frequencies) between the two capitals.
