Etihad Airways is expanding its U.S. operations for the 2024 summer season with new nonstop service between Abu Dhabi and Boston. With this new service, Logan Airport will be served by all three major Middle Eastern carriers, known as the ME3.
Boston is the first new destination launched by the airline to North America since July 2015. Previously, the Gulf carrier was forced to cancel its routes to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Dallas/Fort Worth due to the company’s financial restructuring.

- Abu Dhabi – Boston Flight EY 147 AUH 03:10 – BOS 08:55 Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Boston – Abu Dhabi Flight EY 148 BOS 15:55 – AUH 12:00+1 Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 299 seats in two classes (28 Business Studios/299 Economy Smart and Economy). Promotional fares are available from USD 1,480 roundtrip.
Etihad’s new service will offer convenient connections to multiple cities in North America through its codeshare partnership with JetBlue, while travelers from the Americas will be able to access the Gulf carrier’s extensive network of destinations in the Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
Continued growth in North America
Boston is Etihad’s fourth destination in the United States, which is complemented by operations to New York – JFK, Chicago O’Hare and Washington – Dulles (IAD). In total, the airline for next summer will have 20,004 weekly seats on offer between Abu Dhabi and the US.
In addition, with the update of the bilateral agreement between Canada and the United Arab Emirates, Etihad increased its services between Abu Dhabi and Toronto – Pearson from 5 to 7 weekly flights.

- Washington – Dulles: daily flights on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner three-class aircraft.

- Boston: four flights a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner two-class aircraft.
