Embraer has opened registration for the third edition of its career acceleration program in the tech sector, which this time will be exclusively dedicated to women. This aligns with the efforts that the aviation industry has been making to promote inclusion, professional development, and female representation.
Through this program, which offers 50 scholarships, participants will have the opportunity to work with data analysis and the Python programming language, applicable in areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, and automation.
Those interested have until September 3 to register on the program’s website. The requirements are to be 18 years or older, have completed high school, have access to a computer with internet, availability to participate in the selection and training stages, and complete the registration process of the program that includes the inclusion of personal data, a technical test, and a cultural fit assessment.
The program, developed in partnership with Gama Academy, lasts 4 months, from October 2 to January 31, and is conducted via Zoom. The selection process will extend from September 11 to 22. While they do not guarantee jobs, those who complete the course will be in Embraer’s talent base and its associated companies for consideration in future selection processes.
“Embraer Social Tech combines education and innovation to contribute to the development of a more inclusive society,” says Andreza Alberto, Embraer’s Vice President of People, ESG and Corporate Communications. “We are very proud of this affirmative action focused on quality education for women who want to enter the technology market.”
Based in Brazil, Embraer has managed to develop as one of the leading companies in the global aerospace sector, with more than 8,000 aircraft delivered since its foundation in 1969.
