After suspending services last June, Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras announced that it will resume operations between Florianópolis and Montevideo as of December 15th. The Brazilian company will operate during the 2023/24 summer season, as of press time.
Florianópolis will be Azul’s third destination in the Uruguayan capital, after Porto Alegre and Recife. Until last June, in addition to operating to Florianópolis, it also had flights between Foz do Iguaçu and Montevideo, but for the moment there is no tentative restart date.
