All-Business Class Airline BermudAir Receives its First Embraer E175

-

BermudAir received its first aircraft and is preparing for the arrival of the second in the coming days. It’s an Embraer E175S, leased through Azorra Aviation. The aircraft sports the distinctive scheme of the company and has been registered under the registration VQ-BLU.

The next step in BermudAir’s journey is the aircraft’s certification by the Bermuda authorities. This process will encompass a series of administrative procedures, as well as a sequence of flights covering both the insular space and flights to the U.S. Once this cycle is completed, the aircraft will return to Canada, where Azorra Aviation is headquartered, to complete the necessary preparations for the company’s formal launch.

«Last night, BermudAir’s first aircraft arrived on the island, landing at L.F. Wade International Airport. This wonderful milestone marks the arrival of one of the two E175 aircraft that will find their home on our island. The aircraft is here for the purpose of conducting preliminary flights, which will be thoroughly evaluated by the Bermuda authorities, as part of the ongoing process of adjusting to local regulations», a BermudAir spokesperson said in a meeting with the local press.

BermudAir aims to offer short-haul flight services through the Embraer E175 fleet, which will be equipped with an executive-class cabin. The airline will connect various locations of the Bermuda archipelago with points on the east coast of the United States.
