Aeropuertos del Perú Renews its Fleet of Fire Trucks with 11 NAFFCO Vehicles

-

Aeropuertos del Peru (AdP), the company that holds the concession for 12 airports in Peru, has completed the process of incorporating NAFFCO fire trucks for the Rescue and Fire Extinguishing Services of its network.

The purchase of 11 NAFFCO branded vehicles entailed an investment of USD 13.2 million. They were manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, meeting the requirements of the NFPA standard, which certifies the use of a vehicle for aeronautical rescue and firefighting.

The company detailed that these eleven vehicles will be distributed at the Chiclayo airport (3), the Iquitos airport (2), the Tarapoto airport (2), the Piura airport (1), the Pisco airport (1), the Talara airport (1), and the Trujillo airport (1).

“With this acquisition, AdP reaffirms the commitment it took on from the beginning of the concession to ensure airport safety at each of the airports under our management. Each of our airports will have vehicles with high international standards and cutting-edge technology, which will ensure the protection and safety of our operations,” said Evans Avendaño, General Manager of AdP.

Airports of Peru will also soon receive the last two of the four fire trucks of the E-ONE brand purchased in the United States, of which one will go to the Talara airport and another to the Trujillo airport, after the first two were for the Tumbes airport in May.

In this way, AdP’s total investment in the purchase of 15 E-ONE and NAFFCO fire trucks reaches USD 17.7 million.
