GOL to resume flights between Sao Paulo (Congonhas) and Rio de Janeiro Galeão

As of September 1st, GOL will resume flights between Congonhas and Galeão airports in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro respectively, as reported by AEROIN. The airline will once again operate this route after two and a half years.

  • GOL will have 27 daily flights between the Sao Paulo airport and the city of Rio de Janeiro, 24 of which on the traditional air bridge to Santos Dumont.
  • Considering the offers from Guarulhos to Rio, GOL also has another five daily flights to SDU and another five to Galeão, totaling an offer of up to 37 daily flights between the main airports of the two cities.
