A premature exit of the Airbus A350 model seems to have been defined by Azul, which has already scheduled what would be the last flight of the newly delivered aircraft, as announced by AEROIN.

The model, which arrived last September to Azul’s fleet, should complete a year in the Brazilian company and already give exit, as advanced last month, after several rumors inside and outside the company.

The high operating cost of the model, according to sources is only profitable on routes of equal or greater duration to Campinas – Paris, when compared to the A330-900neo, would have bothered the company, which since the beginning of the year closed several agreements for debt renegotiation.

Last month also came information that two of the A350 jets that the company had acquired would have been passed on to the Spanish Iberia.

Now, as new information, the slots report (landing and take-off times) of Viracopos Airport in Campinas, Azul’s main hub, point to a date for the A350’s departure in October.

Based on the updated data, the last flight of the jet on the Campinas – Paris-Orly route will be on October 2nd and on the Viracopos – Orlando route the jet will fly again on the same day, but only until October 28th, when the last A350 slot is scheduled at the airport in Campinas. On both routes, the A350 will be replaced by the A330-200ceo and the A330-900neo after the dates mentioned.
