Austrian Airlines expands its services between Brandenburg Airport and Innsbruck for the winter season. From December 23, 2023 until March 9, 2024, the route will have a twice-weekly flight schedule.
Compared to last winter’s flight schedule, the airline will fly between Berlin and Innsbruck for a longer period and with additional services each week in the coming season. In addition, the company is the only airline to operate in this segment with scheduled passenger flights.
Austrian Airlines will also have a schedule of 42 weekly flights between the German capital and Vienna for the winter, with services operated on Airbus A320ceo, A320neo and A321 aircraft. In total, the airline will offer 15,328 seats per week between Austria and Brandenburg Airport.

- Berlin – Innsbruck Flight OS 281 BER 13:20 – INN 14:55 Wednesday.
- Berlin – Innsbruck Flight OS 281 BER 12:10 – INN 13:55 Saturday.
- Innsbruck – Berlin Flight OS 282 INN 15:55 – BER 17:20 Wednesday.
- Innsbruck – Berlin Flight OS 282 INN 15:05 – BER 16:30 Saturday.
The route will be operated by Airbus A320ceo aircraft with a seating capacity of 174 and promotional fares are available from 165 euros round trip.
Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol is an ideal destination for winter sports. The Capital of the Alps has reach to alpine attractions such as the Karwendel Mountains and the Tux Alps. There are also a total of 13 ski resorts in the region, including Axamer Lizum and Rangger Köpfl. The city offers travelers a pleasant old town atmosphere and its baroque churches.
Lufthansa Group is the only airline connecting Brandenburg Airport with Austria. In addition to Austrian Airlines services, its sister airline Eurowings offers non-stop flights from the German capital to Graz (2 flights per week) and Salzburg (4 flights per week), all of which are operated by Airbus A319 aircraft. In total, the German group will have a winter schedule of 17,056 seats per week between Austria and Berlin.
