At 11:45 p.m. local time on Sunday (16), Air Europa’s first scheduled non-stop flight to Córdoba (Argentina) departed from Madrid. Although other non-stop operations had already been carried out, as of today the service is established in this way.

The company had been flying to Córdoba since December 2016, but the service included a stopover in Asunción (Paraguay) both on the outbound and return flights, which extended the total flight time by a few hours.

Flying between Madrid and Córdoba will from today involve 12 hours 35 minutes of flight time, versus the 14 hours 45 minutes that the service required with a stopover in the Paraguayan capital.

Flight UX 23 will depart from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11:45 p.m. to arrive in Córdoba at 7:20 a.m. the following day (all times are local).

The return as UX 24 will be on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:45 a.m., arriving in Madrid at 4:55 a.m. the following day.
These flights are operated by Boeing 787-8 aircraft with capacity for 296 passengers (22 in Business and 274 in Economy), which translates into 888 seats per direction each week.
