LATAM to fly between Rio de Janeiro (Santos Dumont) and Navegantes

LATAM Airlines Brazil will add a new domestic route with Airbus A319 aircraft starting July 1st, 2023, when it will begin operating five weekly flights between Rio de Janeiro (Santos Dumont) and Navegantes, as announced by AEROIN. From October this year, these flights will increase to seven weekly flights, some operated with Airbus A320s.

The upcoming vacation period is expected to be the best since 2019, before the COVID pandemic.

In May, LATAM recorded a 27% growth in domestic passenger volume in Brazil compared to the same period in 2022. In total, the company carried 2.6 million people on domestic flights in the country last month, surpassing the 2 million recorded in the same month last year.
