Finnair Boosts Flights in Europe & Japan, Adds New Poland Route in 2024

Finnair is responding to increased demand for level travel and has planned for the 2024 northern summer season to boost its hub in Helsinki with more flights in northern and central Europe and Japan. In addition, the airline will have a new destination in Poland by next year.

In Scandinavia, Finnair is adding additional frequencies to Tromsø and Trondheim in Norway and is bringing back the service between Helsinki and Bergen that operates with a stopover at Arlanda Airport. Also, there will be an additional morning service between Helsinki and Stockholm, as well as more flights to Billund, Denmark.

In Germany, there will be more services to Dusseldorf and Hamburg. In the UK and Ireland, the airline is increasing flights to Manchester, Dublin and Edinburgh. In the long-haul sector, flights to Tokyo – Narita and Osaka – Kansai will be increased.

In Poland, Finnair will increase its operations to Krakow and will reactivate the route to Gdansk. The airline will also introduce a new destination to Wroclaw from April 2, 2024, this city is known as the «Polish Sillicon Valley», several companies from Finland and Asia are based in or near Wroclaw.

«We are delighted to introduce Wroclaw as a new destination,» says Ole Orvér, commercial director of Finnair. «We believe Wroclaw is not only a welcome addition for business travelers, but also an intriguing leisure destination for people looking for a city break in a picturesque setting».
