All Nippon Airways (ANA) resumes operations in Western Australia with the reactivation of the Tokyo/Narita – Perth route for this austral summer. The airline’s last service on this segment was on March 30, 2020: the connection was discontinued as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

All Nippon Airways first launched operations between Narita and Perth in September 2019 with a daily service operated on 184-seat Boeing 787-8s. The resumption of this route adds 75,000 seats back to the market and expands Western Australia’s international connectivity.
ANA flight schedule to Perth
Starts October 29, 2023.
- Tokyo/Narita – Perth Flight NH 881 NRT 11:20 – PER 20:30 Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Perth – Tokyo/Narita Flight NH 882 PER 21:55 – NRT 08:30+1 Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft seating 215 passengers in three classes (48 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/146 Economy) and promotional fares are available from USD 1,355 round trip. ANA also has a codeshare partnership with Virgin Australia that allows customers access to more Australian destinations.
In addition to its operations to Perth, for the austral summer the airline has scheduled two daily flights between Tokyo/Haneda and Sydney operated on Boeing 787s. ANA will offer 7,982 seats per week between Australia and Japan, making it the second largest airline operator in the market in terms of seats per seat kilometer (ASK) offered, according to Cirium.
With the resumption of ANA flights to Tokyo, Perth Airport’s international offering for the austral summer will have services to Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Denpasar – Bali, Auckland, Manila, Singapore and Doha.
