AIX 2023: Recaro unveils new Premium Economy seats

During the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2023 held in Hamburg, Recaro unveiled the PL3810 seat, a new product developed for Premium Economy classes in wide-body aircraft.

«The PL3810 is the result of comprehensive market and observational research, as well as global trends and our extensive experience as a leading supplier in the premium segment», the company highlighted in a press release.

The new Recaro PL3810 seat

According to its developer, the new seats feature a 4.5-inch center armrest, a six-position adjustable headrest, calf supports, a single tray table, and can recline up to 9 inches.

Additionally, the design incorporates dividers to enhance passenger privacy and optimize cabin space. The company states that its weight is 10% lower than similar seats from previous generations.

«With each seat order we receive, from economy to business class, Recaro is tasked with helping airlines build a better passenger experience», stated Mark Hiller, CEO of the company.

In addition, it also presented its CL6720 seats designed for Business classes and CL3810 seats developed for Economy classes.
