Aerolíneas Argentinas Launches Miami Flights from Buenos Aires’ Aeroparque with Airbus A330-200

Beginning July 13, Aerolíneas Argentinas is set to launch flights to Miami from Buenos Aires’ Aeroparque Jorge Newbery airport, deploying its Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Sources close to the company confirmed the operation, which will initially include two daily flights to cater to the winter season’s travel demands.

Flight schedules and fares are yet to be revealed, as the information is not currently available on the airline’s website. However, the move comes after a series of discussions and developments earlier this year.

In February, during the MRO Latin Americas conference, Aviacionline spoke with Aerolíneas Argentinas’ President, Pablo Ceriani, about the possibility of introducing this new route. At that time, Ceriani remained cautious, stating that various factors needed to be resolved before the decision could be made. However, he acknowledged that the idea was under consideration.

With the confirmation of the new Miami-bound flights, Aerolíneas Argentinas continues to expand its international route network. The airline’s ongoing plans for fleet renewal have also been previously reported. In an earlier article, Aviacionline revealed that Aerolíneas Argentinas was considering the Airbus A330neo and Embraer 195-E2 aircraft as potential additions to modernize their fleet.

Developing story.
