Rutaca Airlines strengthens air connectivity in eastern Venezuela with a new non-stop flight between Caracas (CCS) and Maturín (MUN) starting on April 28. The airline will compete in this segment with Conviasa and Estelar.
In addition to this new destination, the company’s domestic network has services to Barcelona (BLA), Barquisimeto (BRM), Caracas (CCS), Ciudad Bolivar (CBL), Maracaibo (MAR), Porlamar (PMV), Puerto Ordaz and Santo Domingo del Tachira (STD).

Maturin (MUN) – Caracas (CCS)
- Flight 5R 1346 MUN 06:30 – CCS 07:30 Monday.
- Flight 5R 1346 MUN 17:30 – CCS 18:30 Friday.
The route will be operated in Boeing 737-300 aircraft with a capacity of 148 seats and promotional fares are available starting at 75 USD each way.
Rutaca’s international offer
The airline currently offers scheduled passenger flights to the Dominican Republic and has scheduled routes between Caracas (CCS) – Punta Cana (PUJ), Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Barquisimeto (BRM) and Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Maracaibo (MAR), these services offer onward connections to other destinations.
Recently, Rutaca was the first airline to resume flights between Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago since the beginning of the pandemic. The company operated a charter flight between Porlamar (PMV) and Port of Spain (POS) where it mobilized 110 passengers.
