Dominican Republic: Laser Airlines and RED Air consolidate their operations in La Romana

As of April 24, 2023, Laser Airlines and RED Air consolidate their operations in the Dominican Republic by establishing La Romana (LRM) as their main hub. This new change will benefit customers by making their connections more convenient.

«La Romana International Airport has three terminals, which guarantees greater comfort for our passengers’ connections. In addition, it has attractive commercial premises and gastronomic establishments thus offering them a pleasant waiting time«, Laser Airlines said in a press release.

Laser Airlines will be the only airline to offer scheduled flights from South America to Casa Campo International Airport (LRM). In addition to this new service, the Venezuelan carrier will continue to operate four flights a week to Santo Domingo (SDQ) for its Dominican Republic schedule.

Laser’s flight schedule to La Romana

Flights will be operated in McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft and promotional fares are available starting at US$203 each way.

Caracas (CCS) – La Romana (LRM)
  • Flight QL 2966 CCS 09:10 – LRM 10:40 daily flights.
  • Flight QL 1968 CCS 11:45 – LRM 13:15 daily flights.
La Romana (LRM) – Caracas (CCS)
  • Flight QL 2967 LRM 12:15 – CCS 13:45 daily flights.
  • Flight QL 1969 LRM 15:15 – CCS 16:45 daily flights.

RED Air will completely relocate its operations from Santo Domingo (SDQ) to Casa Campo International Airport (LRM) and will be the only airline to provide scheduled operations to the United States at La Romana (LRM), thus strengthening the region’s international connectivity with new services from secondary cities.

Flights will be operated in McDonnell Douglas MD-82 aircraft and promotional fares are available starting at US$197 each way.

  • Flight L5 3996 LRM 12:30 – MIA 15:00 daily flights.
  • Flight L5 3994 LRM 15:00 – MIA 17:30 daily flights.
Miami (MIA) – La Romana (LRM)
  • Flight L5 3997 MIA 08:00 – LRM 10:30 daily flights.
  • Flight L5 3995 MIA 10:30 – LRM 13:00 daily flights.
