Part of the global sustainability concept

Lufthansa Group is amid the largest fleet renewal in the company’s history. By 2030, more than 200 new narrowbody and widebody aircraft will be delivered to the group’s airlines. This enables the company to significantly reduce the average carbon dioxide emissions of its fleet.

The designers also focused on sustainability aspects when developing the «Allegris» product. Recyclable materials were used in 27,000 seats, as well as covers, cushions, and blankets. The German Group has set itself ambitious climate protection targets and the goal is to achieve a carbon dioxide-neutral balance by 2050.
