Azul to launch two new routes to United States from Belo Horizonte

Azul Linhas Aéreas confirmed the inauguration of two new routes to the United States from Belo Horizonte between next June and September. Both destinations were operated on a regular basis until March 2020, prior to the suspensions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In accordance with the booking system, the company will start flights to Fort Lauderdale on June the 23rd, while on September the 24th it will do the same with Orlando.

At press time, operations will be performed on Airbus A330-900neo jets with 298 seats.

Azul’s schedule between Belo Horizonte and the United States

  • Fort Lauderdale (FLL): 3 flights per week.
  • Orlando (MCO):2 flights per week.

Currently, all of Azul’s operations in the Brazilian city are domestic. In addition to the new connections to the United States, the carrier will begin operations to Curaçao, a few days after the inauguration to Fort Lauderdale.
