Volotea and Eurowings today confirmed their new partnership for the commercialisation of flights on more than 140 routes, a hundred of them operated by the German carrier belonging to Lufthansa Group and the rest covered by the Spanish low-cost airline.
Both companies will market their partner’s flights through their official sales channels. Tickets are already available on the official website of Volotea and from April on the official website of Eurowings. In addition, Volotea announced six new routes between its bases in France and four destinations in Germany, as well as two new routes between Germany and Italy.
The partnership signifies Volotea’s official entry into the German market with scheduled flights. “This is a further sign of Volotea’s determination to develop its network in France, its first market, and more generally in Europe”, the airline said in a press release.
“We are very pleased to launch our commercial activities in Germany with a strong partner and a major player in the country”, said Carlos Muñoz, founder and CEO of Volotea. “With five new destinations from Germany, including three in France and two in Italy, we present a distinctive offer to the German public”, he added.
“We are delighted to expand travel options for our customers to the south by selling Volotea flights on our platform”, said Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings. “This strategic agreement will allow us to offer our customers exciting new destinations in France and Italy, as well as new connections in southern Europe”, he stressed.

- Bordeaux (BOD) – Düsseldorf (DUS):starting on 26 May. Two two flights per week.
- Bordeaux (BOD) – Stuttgart (STR): starting on 26 May. Two two flights per week.
- Verona (VRN) – Berlin (BER): starting on 26 May. Two two flights per week.
- Bordeaux (BOD) – Hamburg (HAM): starting in October 2023. Two two flights per week.
- Florence (FLR) – Hamburg (HAM): starting in October 2023. Two two flights per week.
- Lyon (LYS) – Berlin (BER): starting in October 2023. Two two flights per week.
- Lyon (LYS) – Hamburg (HAM): starting in 2023. Two two flights per week.
- Nantes (NTE) – Stuttgart (STR): starting in 2023. Two two flights per week.
Volotea will thus have a regular presence in Algeria, Austria, Bulgaria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and Algeria.
