Spirit Airlines Boosts California Connectivity with Flights to San Jose

Spirit Airlines will fly to San Jose, California (SJC) for the first time in June with the launch of new routes from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), San Diego (SAN) and Las Vegas (LAS). The carrier will be operating two of the three major airports in the San Francisco Bay Area metropolitan area, currently the low-cost carrier offers nonstop flights to Oakland (OAK).

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (DFW)

Promotional fares are available starting at $89 each way.

  • Dallas – San Jose, CA Flight NK 3406 DFW 07:40 – SJC 09:30 daily flights.
  • San Jose, CA – Dallas Flight NK 3407 SJC 10:20 – DFW 15:50 daily flights.
Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS)

Promotional fares are available starting at $39 each way.

  • San Jose – Las Vegas Flight NK 3402 SJC 11:13 – LAS 12:32 daily flights.
  • San Jose – Las Vegas Flight NK 3404 SJC 15:39 – LAS 17:00 daily flights.
  • Las Vegas – San Jose Flight NK 3403 LAS 13:22 – SJC 14:49 daily flights.
  • Las Vegas – San Jose Flight NK 3405 LAS 17:50 – SJC 17:50 daily flights.
San Diego, California (SAN)

Promotional fares are available from $59 each way.

  • San Jose – San Diego Flight NK 3400 SJC 06:30 – SAN 08:02 daily flights.
  • San Diego – San Jose Flight NK 3401 SAN 08:35 – SJC 10:23 daily flights.

All routes will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft seating 182 passengers in two classes (8 Big Front/174 Economy).

With this new service, it will fly to seven airports in the state of California, complementing its operations to Burbank (BUR), Los Angeles (LAX), Oakland (OAK), Orange County (SNA), Sacramento (SMF) and San Diego (SAN). Spirit first landed in California in 2000 with a route to LAX and has grown to more than 55 daily flights to 23 out-of-state destinations.

In the last three years, the low-cost carrier has increased the number of operations by 41% and seat capacity in California by 46%.
