Frontier Airlines will have its largest expansion in Puerto Rico with eight new routes to seven U.S. cities and a service to Mexico. The low-cost carrier will also offer a new destination on the Caribbean island to Ponce (PSE), which will complement its operations in San Juan (SJU) and Aguadilla (BQN).

“The addition of new nonstop routes between Puerto Rico and seven U.S. cities and Cancun, Mexico, significantly expands options for visitors to the Island. At the same time, we celebrate the expansion of operations to Mercedita International Airport in Ponce, which will undoubtedly boost tourism activity and the economy of the southern region,” said Carlos Mercado, executive director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company.
