Brazil: Venezuelan Conviasa opens sales of its flights to Manaus

-

As anticipated, Conviasa expands its operations with a new service between Puerto Ordaz (PZO) and Manaus (MAO) as of March 30, 2023. The Venezuelan state-owned airline will be the only air operator to offer international services at Manuel Carlos Piar Airport (PZO).

With this new Conviasa route, Venezuela and Brazil will again be connected with non-stop flights after more than three years, air operations between both nations were suspended in March 2020 because of the pandemic health crisis.

In late August 2019, the Venezuelan state-owned airline operated services to Manaus (MAO) from Porlamar (PMV) and Caracas (CCS).

Flight Itinerary

  • Puerto Ordaz – Manaus Flight V0 4930 PZO 12:30 – MAO 14:40 Thursday.
  • Manaus – Puerto Ordaz Flight V0 4931 MAO 15:40 – PZO 17:50 Thursday.

The route will be operated in Embraer E190 aircraft with capacity of 104 seats in single configuration and promotional fares are available from USD 249 one way. This service will have connections to Caracas (CCS) and Porlamar (PMV).

Conviasa will be the fifth airline to provide international flights at Eduardo Gomes Airport (MAO), complementing the operations of Azul Linhas Aéreas, GOL, Copa Airlines and Avianca. For the 2023 summer season, Manaus (MAO) will be connected to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Miami (MIA), Panama – Tocumen (PTY), Bogota (BOG) and Puerto Ordaz (PZO).
