Embraer secures new order for fifteen E195-E2s

-

Embraer announced Monday that it has closed a deal for fifteen new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

The Brazilian manufacturer did not confirm the name of the customer. The order is valued at USD 1.17 billion at list prices, and will be incorporated into the Q4 2022 backlog.

In the previous period from July to September 2022, reported in early November, Embraer had informed that the E195-E2 accumulated 188 firm orders out of a total of 297 for the entire commercial aircraft unit.

In single-class configuration with a 28″ pitch, the Embraer E195-E2 seats 146 passengers. It features higher fuel efficiency and range compared to its predecessor, the E195, as well as lower noise and emissions levels. Its range is up to 2,600 nautical miles (4,185 kilometers)
